Renita "Mona" McFarlan Hipps is a native of Columbia SC and serves as a Client Services Assistant for EFinancial Advisors. She retired from the State of South Carolina as a Training Instructor in 2024. In addition, she had held complementary positions such as Adjunct Instructor at Virginia College and Evening Site Manager with Coker College at Fort Jackson Continuing Education Center. She is a Honorably Discharged Army veteran who served as a Medical Specialist with the SC Army National Guard during Desert Storm.
Mona holds a BS Degree in Operational Management from Coker Coker and a MA (Dual Major) from Webster University in Human Resource Management and Leadership. She is also a SC Notary.
One of the things that Mona is most proud of is her 40 year membership at I. DeQuincy Newman UMC, spanning over 4 generations. She has served as the church's Financial Secretary, Secretary of the United Women in Faith, liturgist and was recognized as the 2023 Woman of the Year. Mona is married, has three adult daughters and is also a proud grandparent of four.
